Ingredients
Dried chickpeas
Chickpea flour
Seasoning:
Salt & black pepper
Cumin seeds
Cardamom
Baking soda
Lemon
Olive oil
Instructions
Soak the dried chickpeas.
Add all the ingredients to a food processor and chop up to a mixture.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
Chill the falafel mixture for 30 minutes to 1 hour (optional).
Shape your falafel.
Pan fry or bake the falafel. Heat a few tablespoons of oil in a pan on medium-high heat. Place the falafel in the pan and cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden. / Place the falafel on the baking sheet, lightly spray or brush the top side with oil and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
