Green Falafel

Ingredients


  • Dried chickpeas

  • Chickpea flour

Seasoning:

  • Salt & black pepper

  • Cumin seeds

  • Cardamom

  • Baking soda

  • Lemon

  • Olive oil


Instructions


  1. Soak the dried chickpeas.

  2. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and chop up to a mixture.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.

  4. Chill the falafel mixture for 30 minutes to 1 hour (optional).

  5. Shape your falafel.

  6. Pan fry or bake the falafel. Heat a few tablespoons of oil in a pan on medium-high heat. Place the falafel in the pan and cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden. / Place the falafel on the baking sheet, lightly spray or brush the top side with oil and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
