Plant-based Map of London II

Eating out in summertime means you have a much longer daytime to enjoy being outside. Now we've come to the middle of June, which means it's the perfect time to eat veggies like broccoli 🥦, spinach, asparagus, and different kinds of berries🍓. If there're herbs in your kitchen 🌱, such as basil, oregano, mint and rosemary, you must have witnessed how fast they've been growing.

When you feel like visiting a restaurant one day, the following ones would be highly recommended! Vanilla Black is known for proper meals; Purezza specialises in handmade pizzas; Ethos, Crosstown and By Chloe provide a great selection of sweet treats.

Here're our reviews and recommended dishes for you, and hopefully, you'd find them helpful!

An exclusive vegetarian restaurant with a retro interior design brings diners back to the last century. As Michelin Guide commented, you'll find "real thought has gone into the creation of dishes, which deliver an array of interesting texture and flavour contrasts". They provide upmarket treats that averagely cost £30 per person. Reservation in advance is needed.

Our recommendations:

· Baby Fennel, Creamed Lemon and Toast

· Warm Mushroom Pâté, Lemon and Rice

· Cauliflower Croquette, Endive and Cocoa

· Banana Ice Cream, Whipped Toffee and Banana Biscuit

Purezza

An Italian-style vegan pizzeria, it's famous for its respect for the purity of tradition of Neapolitan pizza. Creative toppings are incorporated with classic doughs, among which our favourite is their unique homemade vegan mozzarella. Average diners spend £15 per person. Advanced reservations are only available for groups.

Our recommendations:

· Margherita

Crosstown

A vegan doughnut store serves a selection of fresh vegan sourdough doughnuts and vegan hot and cold drinks. Though you may enjoy chatting with friends over a doughnut and a cup of coffee, think again before overeating unless you'd like to have a sugar rush! The store is quite delicate, where only bar stools are available. The average cost is £6/person.

Our recommendations:

Dark Chocolate Truffle Doughnut

It's an ideal place to chat with friends and enjoy the cosy and spacious dining area at the same time. £8/person is the average cost when visiting there.

Our recommendations:
